Speechless,It's all been said before
I keep ramming against that same old door
These words seem so familiar
Do they have any meaning anymore?
I believe I've sucked them dry
Just trying to satisfy
This guilt that lives inside
Can't hide behinde my pride anymore
Let me breath you You in
Take away my sin
Let me drink You deep
I won't say a peep
I'll just lie
And let You work Your healing magic inside
Feel You moving through me
Running through my veins
Till You all consume me
With purifying flame
I can't run this time
And leave it all behinde
Because its always there
Like a waiting snare
And I, being the ignorant beast I am
Seek it out and fall right in
Trapped by my sin
But I know You're here
You always care
I have no fear
Sit in my chair
And actually try to inderstand You
And figure out Your love
But that's not going to happen
So, I toss a glance up above
And pray
Thanking You for forgiving me
What else is there for me to say?
