Reveal by Jennifer
A change is here,
And it’s all over me.
I am not the same,
As I once use to be.
My eyes are still blue,
And my hair red.
But my insides have sunk,
To the size of a thread.
As the world turns,
So does the age of my skin.
A whole new beginning,
And goodbye to the child within.
From a girl to a woman,
I watch closely.
Boys become men,
And make me feel lovely.
My hearts been broken,
And already healed.
Like blooming flowers,
In a grassy field.
You may think you know me,
You don’t know what’s real.
For only those who prove their trust,
May see what I have to reveal.
